The search for relevancy

Lately, I have been attempting to define my work. It doesnt fit neatly anywhere that I can find. It's not a homage, a replica, groundbreaking or static. It simply is what it is and to summarize it briefly, it's what I think is beautiful about the world. In that vein, it should make sense that it's far from any literal representation. It's not that I don't think that literal things are beautiful, as they certainly are, it's that there is something that connects it all and brings it all together that is more beautiful than any surface could ever be.
So in these photographs, much like in most of my work, I am trying to show you, to show the world, the beauty that I see. I see it in all sorts of places, in all sorts of ways, but most often I choose to look for it in people and the way they relate to the world sexually. Or rather, the way I relate to the world, as all of these depictions are about my inner world much more than it's about trying to represent anything happening outside of my head.
enjoy.
